Masjid E Umer open day Sunday 19th February 2017

Insha-Allah Masjid-E-Umer’s first OPEN DAY of 2017, on Sunday 19th February 2017 between 1pm and 7pm.

The event aims to provide an educational, fun and enjoyable experience for the all.There will be fantastic poster displays, engaging and informative presentations, artefacts and manuscript that will provide an eye-catching insight into the true Islamic faith and history. There will be a special Exhibition depicting the rich history of Islam in Britain and within Waltham Forest.

You will also have the chance to take a tour of Masjid-e-Umer, listen to the call for prayers and observe live Congregational Prayers at 1:15pm, 4pm and 5.27pm. The prayers offered at 5.27pm will be an audible recitation of Holy Qur’aan.

Weekly Dars and Tazkiyya Circles

The weekly one hour Saturday Lecture (ENGLISH) after Salat ul Isha revolves around selected verses of the Noble Qur'an and the Blessed Ahadith of Rasulullah (sallal lahu alayhi wa sallam). A whole range of traditional and contemporary topics are covered, with a focus on the relevance of the Glorious Shari'ah to every aspect of life

The 30 minute Sunday Tazkiyah Circle (ENGLISH/URDU) after Salat uz Zuhr draws upon the advices of the Salaf (Pious Predecessors) and the Khalaf (Pious of the Recent Age). The goal is to achieve Tazkiyah (Spiritual Reformation), leading to a Sincere Connection with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala - a bond based on the True Love of Allah Azz wa Jal.
