*An Inspirational Programme for Sisters THIS SUNDAY*

Inshallah Our esteemed guest Sheikh Professor Awadalla Youssef will give a talk specially for the Sisters THIS Sunday 25th February 2018 After Zuhar Salaah 1:30pm

(The programme will be for sisters but brothers are welcome
to attend as well)

Professor Awadalla Youssef (Sheikh) was born in Egypt, and studied most of his life there. Sheikh has has been teaching Tilaawat al-Qur’aan since the age of sixteen. Sheikh has obtained a licence from al-Qira’at Institute, al-Azhar. Sheikh has studied under many illustrious scholars around the world and received ijaazat in various Islamic sciences. Although taking the understanding of the Shafiy Mathab, Sheikh also teaches Fiqh of other Mathahib. He has taught in a number of capacities in Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and most recently the UK.

Sheikh has a PhD in Islamic Studies, an MA in Management in Education, MA in Religious Education.

**Urgent Appeal for Burma Muslims**

We may have all seen the terrible conditions of our fellow Human Beings in Myanmar/ Burma

Nu’man bin Bashir (radi Allahu anhum) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.”

[Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Masjid e Umer in partnership with UWT will be collecting funds for our Rohingya  Brothers and sisters in Myanmar/Burma.

Collection will be made after every Salah insha'Allah for one week.

The safe at the back of the Masjid has also been dedicated for this week to this worthy cause.

This can be done in person by donating directly to Salim Bhai at the mosque. Collection taking place after every Salah till next Thursday 14th September 2017

Date: THIS Sunday 30th of July 2017 

Time: After Zuhr Salah. (1:30pm)

Our Mosque Students will be reciting the Holy Qur'aan, reciting Nasheeds, giving lectures.

Please attend and be a source of encouragement for our young children.

The students programme will be followed by a short lecture of Hadhrat Moulana Muhammad Patel Sahib DB.

Facilities for sisters has been organised aswell via the Chelmsford road enternace.
