IT'S BACK ***Feeding The Poor Community Project - 2016***

YES WE ARE DOING IT AGAIN AND WE NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN

As an increasing number of people living in Walthamstow are turning to local food banks for their basic needs and due to the success of donations received last year, the mosque would once again like to collect donations from the local community in order to help the most vulnerable in our community irrespective of their gender, race or religion.  

 

We urgently request the donations of the following food items::

- Boxes of cereal 
- Canned beans (inc Baked beans) 
- Pasta / Rice 
- Canned vegetables 
- Noodles / Couscous 
- Canned soup 
- Canned spaghetti 
- Sugar 
- Lentils 
- Long Life milk 
- Teabags / Coffee 
- Marmalade/Jam 
- Pasta Sauce 
- Squash 
- Canned fish

Through your participation we hope to raise food for our local food banks (including Eat or Heat and others too) that are helping families who are struggling to provide food for themselves and families.

Please drop off your donated food to Masjid e Umer (79 Queens Road Walthamstow E17) from this FRIDAY 5TH , SATURDAY 6TH & SUNDAY 7TH FEBRUARY 2016, anytime between 1pm and 8pm.

Eid Ul Adha 1436 / 2015

Wifaq ul Ulama announces that the 1st of Dhul Hijjah 1436 will be tomorrow Tuesday 15th  September 2015. Eid al-Adha will fall on Thursday, 24th September 2015.

 

1st namaz 7.30am at Masjid e Umer 79 Queens Road E17

 

2nd namaz at 830am in Pavillion 324 Hoe St, London E17 9PX (Please come prepared with wudu as there is not wudu facilities at pavilion)
