Tragedy In New Zealand

The Imams, Trustees and congregation at Masjid-e-Umer were greatly saddened to wake up to the news of the terrible terrorist events that took place in New Zealand.

We strongly condemn this level of hate and terror which has resulted in so much loss of life.

Our hearts go out to the survivors and the communities in Christchurch as they mourn the loss of the departed ones, killed, as they were about to engage in prayer.

We ask our community to continue to remain vigilant and stand united against all forms of extremism.
